Our farm is ideal to accommodate kids. Completely plain and so intrinsic safe, with a wide open space. It’s easy to find animals both inside the farm both externally to it. So you can find, with a pinch of lucky, foxes, ferrets, owls, hawks, and many others, also due to the WWF oasis. Kids could see and know many animals and learn their habits, or adopt one; feed horses, lambs, ducks; just pick grass directly from fields! This year kids had the change to see the herons close to the horses, elegant, small and white. Vanished in an hunting Sunday…
Professionalism is a strength of our project. Francesco and Lilly have several qualification in “touristy farm management” and followed several courses and attended several stages. Elena and Lilly attended in ’98 several courses with Prometeo Project. The farm is also part of the teaching farm in Cesena.
Our available laboratories are: from grain to bread, from sheep to sock, from grapes to wine, grandmother soap, let’s prepare orange marmalade, lemon, plum, pumpkin jam, syrups. Kids can also prepare bread shapes or salt paste, or design and build kite. With some teachers we are also preparing a legality school to teach how to demand their rights and not to beg for that.
We’re proud of realized activities for kids, both for enthusiasm they’re giving us each time, both because initiatives are part of farm mission.
